Terms of use
These terms cover playing CREASE at playcrease.app, including online play and the optional Premium Pass. By playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
The game
CREASE is a free-to-play air hockey game that runs in your web browser. It was made for the iPhone Duo: open, it is a full table with two players, one on each side; closed, it is a pocket table where you play the CPU. It also plays on other phones, tablets and computers. You don't need an account, and you never have to pay to play the game's solo, two-player, Daily Challenge or online modes.
We may add, change or remove features, arenas or modes, and we may pause or end the game or online play at any time.
Age
Anyone can play. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you, and you need their permission before buying anything.
Play fair
When you use CREASE, please don't:
- attack, overload or try to break into our servers, or send fake traffic or events;
- cheat in online matches, or interfere with other players' games;
- use the game for anything illegal; or
- copy, resell or republish the game, its artwork or its music as your own.
You are responsible for what you share from the game, such as challenge links and result cards, and for the pictures you add in the Design Studio. Only use pictures you have the right to use. They stay on your device.
Online play
Quick match pairs you with whoever else is looking for a game, so you may play strangers. There is no chat. To protect the service we may limit, block or end connections, for example when traffic looks automated. Online play depends on servers and networks we don't fully control, so it may not always be available.
Purchases and refunds
What it is. The Premium Pass is an optional, one-time purchase. It is sold directly by prodbyKCTW LLC through Instagram direct messages at @prodbykctw. The price and how to pay are confirmed in that conversation before you pay.
What it includes. As described in the game's Premium Garage when you buy. Today that is: every arena unlocked, the Design Studio, signature paddles with their own effects, and Founder's Gold for passes bought before November 1, 2026. It also changes power-ups in matches on that device: BIG and WALL last 1.6 times longer and carry into the next round, for both sides of the table. Online matches are not affected.
A digital item. The pass is a digital item for the game. It is saved in the browser on the device where it is activated. Clearing that browser's data, or using Clear my data in the game, removes it from that device. If that happens, email us with your purchase details and we will help.
Refunds. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying. Email prodbykctw@gmail.com with your purchase details, and we will refund you, to your original payment method where we can. After 14 days, refunds are up to us, except where the law says otherwise.
Your legal rights. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.
Our content
The CREASE name, game, artwork, music and code belong to prodbyKCTW LLC or to the people who license them to us. Some parts are open-source software used under their own licenses. Playing gives you a personal right to use the game, not ownership of it.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what the game collects and how to opt out or delete it.
No guarantees
CREASE is provided “as is” and “as available.” As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, always available or suited to a particular purpose. Take breaks, and play somewhere safe, especially in VR or when moving around.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, prodbyKCTW LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using CREASE, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the Premium Pass, or US $10 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, except where the consumer laws of the place you live say otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Changes don't affect a purchase you have already made.
